Soap and Herbs, clean ingredients, with a purpose.
Salty Brother Soap and Herb Company is my new business to try to create a little freedom for myself and my new business partner. Why Soap? ...and Herbs? Well, health and wellness is something that has been very important to me for a long time. I have always been sort of an athlete, and realized how important the fuel I put into my body was. And the largest organ we have is our skin, which absorbs everything we put onto it. So it's important to keep it clean with quality soap, and moisturize with skin food and not chemicals.
Why Salty Brothers?
Well first of all the name is memorable, and we have created a kick-ass logo to go along with it. The name works well because my business partner, Troy is the captain of a fishing boat, and I am frequently at the beach or in the water myself... The name also represents something so much deeper.
" We are the Salty Brothers because we are salty about the way people treat our environment. Troy is a fisherman and William is an outdoorsman, and they see firsthand the impact of humans on the environment. Help us clean things up a bit." This is what we've come up with so people understand our story, and can remember our name. We also supplement the about us with: "Salty Brothers products are Supported by Mermaids everywhere! A portion of proceeds will go towards organizations who we believe are doing the most good for our planet."
The creams that we are making are being made with simple ingredients, and also with extracts of quality herbs that have nutritional benefits. The same herbs that are being used to make the creams are also being sold to take as supplements. There are many mushrooms and plants in nature that are capable of healing things you wouldn't imagine. If you like learning about this stuff, look up the health benefits of agaricus blazei, maitake, reishi, chaga, and lions mane, this is my mushroom blend. We hope that you are willing to try our products with confidence. And we hope you feel good about the fact that you're doing something to treat yourself and our environment with love. Shipping isn't destructive because the mailman would be driving right by your house anyway, and it saves you a trip to the store. And we will do our best to keep packaging to a minimum.
